Email Marketing — Write For Us | HuntMeLeads Guest Post Guidelines

HuntMeLeads publishes practitioner-first writing on email marketing, cold email, deliverability, and modern B2B outbound. If you've shipped a campaign, fixed a deliverability problem, built a sender, or run an SDR team — and you have data, screenshots, or a story to back it up — we'd like to read your pitch.

These guidelines exist so we don't waste each other's time. Read them before you pitch.

What we publish

  • Cold email teardowns with the actual email, the actual reply rate, and what changed between iterations.
  • Deliverability case studies — DMARC fixes, IP warmup playbooks, reputation recovery stories.
  • SDR team playbooks with real metrics (not "we 10x'd reply rates" hand-waving).
  • Original research — surveys, scraped datasets, A/B tests run on a meaningful sample.
  • Opinion pieces on the future of outbound, AI personalization, channel mix, and the SDR role.
  • Compliance deep-dives — GDPR, CAN-SPAM, CASL — written by practitioners, not by AI summarizing the regulation.

What we don't publish

  • "Top 10 cold email tools" roundups that conveniently feature the author's product at #1.
  • AI-generated drafts. We can tell, and so can readers.
  • Posts where the primary purpose is linking to your product.
  • Generic listicles ("5 ways to write a better subject line") with no original insight.
  • Anything we can find a near-duplicate of via a Google search.

Format and length

1,500-3,000 words, written as Google Docs or Markdown. Subheadings every 200-300 words. Original screenshots where relevant — no stock photography. Data tables and charts welcome; we'll typeset them for publication. Include suggested H1 title and meta description.

Author requirements

Real name, real LinkedIn, real bio. Verifiable work history in B2B sales, marketing, or deliverability. We don't publish anonymously. We don't accept ghostwritten posts unless the credited author actually contributed.

Editorial process

Initial response within 5 business days. Accepted pitches enter a 1-2 week edit cycle — usually one round of structural feedback, one round of copy edits. Final draft requires author sign-off before publication. Publication date agreed in advance; promotion across our newsletter (~40k readers) and social on the day of publish.

Links and bio

One in-content do-follow link to your product, company, or referenced research. One author bio at the end with name, role, company, and one personal-site or social link. Excess linking gets cut in the edit pass.

How to pitch

Email editorial@huntmeleads.com with the subject line "Write For Us — [topic]". In the body: 2-3 sentence summary, suggested H1, an outline with the main sections, and one published writing sample. Don't send the full draft on the first pitch — let us shape the angle first.

Frequently asked questions

Do you pay for guest posts?

We don't pay cash. We do offer a do-follow author byline, a backlink to one URL of your choosing, and distribution across our newsletter and social channels (~40k readers as of 2026).

What topics are you accepting?

Email marketing, cold email, B2B outbound, deliverability, SDR playbooks, sender reputation, list hygiene, AI-assisted personalization, GDPR/CAN-SPAM compliance. We do NOT publish generic 'top 10 tools' roundups or thinly-rewritten newsletter recaps.

What's the word count and quality bar?

1,500-3,000 words, original research or hands-on experience, screenshots/data where relevant. We reject AI-generated drafts and anything we can find a near-duplicate of via a Google search.

How long does review take?

Initial response within 5 business days. If accepted, edit cycle of 1-2 weeks, then publication on the agreed date. We don't publish anonymously and we don't publish without final author approval.

Can I include a link to my product?

Yes — one in-content link to your product or company, plus the author bio. We don't accept posts whose primary purpose is product promotion; the value to the reader has to come first.
